I live in Lansing with my husband, Nate, and our 3 youngest children. Nate and I also have an adult son who is working full time and lives on his own. I graduated from Great Lakes Christian College with a B.A. in Bible/Theology and Cross-cultural Ministries. During and after college I worked for Lansing Youth for Christ as a Campus Life Club Director and Student to Staff Director (a discipleship and training program for young adult leaders). In 2013, I stepped away from those positions so I could homeschool my children, but I continued on at YFC part-time as an Administrative Assistant until January 2019 when I came on staff with Crossroads as the Pastor of Help and Women’s Ministry. I believe that God created men and women to work together in ways that are both equal and unique; and I believe the Church is stronger when there is a diverse spectrum of voices represented (something we are continuing to strive for). My position at Crossroads includes: coordinating Sunday morning services, overseeing the Deacons and Volunteer Captains, Women’s Ministry, and working alongside the other Pastors to help shepherd and guide our congregation.
